Exciting new opportunity to work with Clare Youth Service following
the announcement of a new rural youth project for Clare. The _UBU ?
YOUR PLACE YOUR SPACE PROJECT _has been awarded for the Killaloe
Municipal District. This project is funded under the Department of
Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) through
Limerick and Clare Education & Training Board (LCETB).
The programme identifies, recruits and engages targeted young people

throughout the Killaloe Municipal District. It seeks to provide person
centred out of school supports to young people in their local
communities to enable them to overcome adverse circumstances,
including rural and social isolation and achieve their full potential
by improving their personal and social development outcomes.

QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED PEOPLE FOR THE FOLLOWING POSTS:
YOUTH WORKER X 2 ? KILLALOE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT (**APPLY ON THE

The successful applicants will engage and support young people through
a range of interventions and initiatives. They will work in
partnership with young people to design a range of activities and
issue based programmes which will be delivered in multiple locations
and on an outreach basis throughout the district. Enthusiasm,
creativity, commitment, an ability to think and work independently,
experience in outreach work, including digital youth work, and the
ability to prepare and write reports, are important requirements. A
relevant third level qualification plus one year of professional
experience or three years of voluntary experience are essential. These
posts involve significant work on evenings and weekends.
